Artem V. Myronchuk (Tin)

Serviceman Artem Myronchuk (call sign Shadow) died on August 29, 2023, in a battle with the occupiers in the area of the village of Pivnichne in the Donetsk region. During the enemy artillery shelling, he received fatal injuries. The defender was 35 years old. Artem was from the village of Mayunichi, Rivne region. He graduated from the 9th grade of the Rafalivska general secondary school of I-III degrees. Then he studied at the driving school of the village of Nova Rafalivka and obtained the qualifications of a driver of categories "A" and "B". He worked as a wheel vehicle mechanic at a private car service station in the village of Polytsi. In his free time, he loved to read. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for his country as part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. Artem was a senior rifleman-operator. "A kind-hearted person, although not talkative. He led a healthy lifestyle. Responsible and very conscientious," said Valery, the commander of the local Territorial Defense Forces. "One of the comrades said that Artem saved his life three times, he was very fast and agile. No one could, but he brought ammunition to the guys under fire," said the close ones of the fallen. The warrior was buried in his native village. Artem is survived by his mother and two brothers.
