- 27-year-old soldier Artem Kukhanov (call sign Kit) was killed in action on July 17, 2022, near the village of Pryshyb, Izyum district, Kharkiv region. In a battle with the enemy, he came under artillery fire and suffered fatal explosive injuries. Artem was born in the village of Mykhailovo-Oleksandrivka (Russia). However, he later moved to Luhansk region with his family - to the village of Velykotsk. He studied at school there. In 2014, he graduated from the Luhansk College of Construction, Economics, and Law. Later, he moved to Kharkiv, and before the invasion, he worked at the local "Epicenter". With the start of the full-scale war, the man volunteered to go to the front. Artem served in the 5th Separate Sloboda Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine. He held the position of shooter. "He was kind, responsible, the soul of the company, and most importantly - a loving husband and the best son in the world," said the deceased's wife, Oksana Suknysta. Artem was buried in the city of Pershotravensk, Kharkiv region. The defender left behind his mother and wife. Posthumously, the warrior was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
