Artur A. Alieksieiechkin (Kapa)

Sergeant Artur Aleksieichkin (call sign Kapa) was killed on May 9, 2023, while defending the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. An enemy shell hit the vehicle in which the warrior was. The defender was forever 38 years old. Artur was from the Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in the city of Dnipro. He graduated from the Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. He had his own business in the construction industry, and together with his team, he was engaged in the design and construction of large shopping centers and new buildings in Dnipro and Kyiv. He was a participant in the ATO in Donbas. During the full-scale war, the man defended his country from the occupiers in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 93rd separate mechanized brigade "Kholodny Yar". He held the position of commander of the platoon of anti-tank missile systems. "Our Artur was a desperate warrior, defending our country since 2014. The commander said that Artur was the best sergeant. The guys speak of him as a true commander who led them into battle, covering them with himself. And we, a loving family, just want his soul to rest in heaven. We dream of the victory for which our Hero gave his life," said his wife's niece Yulia. The defender was buried in the village of Berezanivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. At home, Artur was awaited by his mother, wife, son, other relatives and friends.
