Біографія
Arthur Anatoliyovych Bezsmertny (call sign Ronin) was born on October 12, 1984, in the city of Liepaja (Latvia). Arthur's father was Ukrainian, originally from the Tsarychansky district of Dnipropetrovsk region. Seven years ago, he passed away, and Arthur visited Ukraine every year on the anniversary of his father's death to pay his respects at his grave. In 2015, he also came and was struck by the level of apathy in society towards the war that had already been ongoing in the East of the country. Arthur went to the military enlistment office. However, since he was a non-resident of Ukraine, he was advised to contact volunteer forces. Prior to that, Ronin had served for 3 years in the army under NATO standards, so he had fantastic training as a professional soldier. Thus, he found himself in the ranks of the 14th reserve battalion "Dniprovshchyna" of the Volunteer Ukrainian Corps "Right Sector," where he began his service in early July 2015. Reliable. Decent. Honest. Collected. Ronin (or friend Latvian, as he was also called in the PS) always wanted to see his comrades as even more qualified warriors, constantly conducting training sessions to pass on his knowledge gained during previous service. Every 3-4 months, new waves of volunteers went to the front lines, and soon Arthur joined the ranks of the 5th separate battalion of the DUC, from where he was taken by the commander of the separate tactical reconnaissance group, Hryhoriy Semenyshyn (friend Semen), who was killed in January 2016. Ronin was a truth-lover, very demanding, expecting the maximum from himself and others, and had remarkable organizational skills. When Hryhoriy Semenyshyn, who was a very close friend of Arthur's, was killed, he returned to Latvia. However, he couldn't stay at home for long, so after six months, he returned to Ukraine, signing a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine for 6 months, which he then continuously extended. Initially, he served in the 2nd company of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 54th separate mechanized brigade, then moved to the sniper platoon, after which he ended up in the 2nd mechanized battalion. At the end of 2016, he participated in the horrific battles near Avdiivka forest in December. One of the meanings of the word Ronin is a free warrior, a traveler who has no foreign power over him. Therefore, Arthur, a citizen of another country fighting for ours, had such a call sign. He was a unique person with a strong and firm character who completely dedicated himself to the war. Arthur treated members of the opposite sex with great respect and never spoke ill of women. Cheerful, combat-ready in all respects, Ronin said he would be at war until the end. He was a model of dignity and conscience, very persistent, constantly attending various courses and training for professional development, studying at "Desna." He tried to teach his comrades the culture of a Warrior — a combination of physical strength and intellect. In May 2018, he transferred to the 72nd separate mechanized brigade, remaining at the Duga. He was killed on the evening of July 26 in the area of the village of Novoluhanske, Donetsk region, as a result of a mine-explosive injury sustained during a position change by the cover group. He was buried on July 30 in the village of Pryadivka, Tsarychansky district of Dnipropetrovsk region, near his father's grave. He is survived by his mother and son.Військова служба
