- Artyr Hennadiyovych Venzhyk was born on April 17, 2000, in the city of Kozyatyn, Vinnytsia region. He studied at Kozyatyn General Education School I–III degrees No. 1. He graduated from the Kozyatyn Interregional Higher Vocational School of Railway Transport and obtained the profession of "Railcar Inspector-Repairman," later enhancing his qualifications as a "Passenger Car Conductor." Since 2020, he worked at the VCh-1 station "Kyiv-Passazhyrskyi" as a passenger car conductor. He was a donor of blood and/or its components multiple times. Artyr was a reliable friend to his peers. He was purposeful, restrained, caring, kind, and a loving son and brother to his younger sister. In April 2021, Artyr was called up to the National Guard of Ukraine, where he proved to be a well-prepared, highly qualified, and principled serviceman. Serving as a driver-paramedic in the anti-aircraft missile artillery division of the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard, he demonstrated composure, resourcefulness, and determination while performing his duties. From the first days of the full-scale invasion of Russian aggressors into Ukraine, Artyr took up the defense of his homeland. On March 16, 2022, during defensive combat to hold positions in the city of Rubizhne in the Sievierodonetsk district of Luhansk region, Artyr Venzhyk came under enemy fire from artillery and small arms, resulting in serious injuries, and he was evacuated from the battlefield. He died in the hospital on March 20, 2022. For conscientious performance of his duties, loyalty to military oath and the Ukrainian people, personal courage, and heroism, soldier Venzhyk Artyr Hennadiyovych was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
