Artur M. Kaminskyi (Syna)

Junior Sergeant Artur Kaminskyi (call sign Syna) was killed on January 23, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Novoselyvske in the Luhansk region. The soldier was 22 years old. Artur was born in the village of Berezhyntsi, Khmilnytskyi region. He graduated from the Hrytsiv Higher Vocational School. At the age of 18, he was drafted into the military service. Later, he decided to stay in the army and signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2019, Artur served in the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He was a squad commander in the engineering support unit. He took part in the Joint Forces Operation in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. During the full-scale war, together with his comrades, he defended the Kharkiv region. "We've been in a relationship for 3.5 years. He was a very good, bright person. He was brave, never afraid to go forward and carry out combat missions. He loved his calling, was always ready to help everyone. He loved life, was in a hurry to live, wanted to do everything, had a lot of plans. He wanted a family, but unfortunately, we were only married for 4 months. He remained a cheerful, positive person forever. He was the best, faithful and caring husband, son, brother, comrade. He loved animals very much," said the wife of the fallen Violetta. The defender was buried in his native village. Artur is survived by his wife, parents, brother, sister, and grandmother.
