Artur O. Korniichuk (Archi)

Soldier Arthur Korniychuk (call sign Archi) was killed on November 10, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the village of Pervomaiske in Donetsk region. The warrior was 26 years old. Arthur was born in the village of Oleksandrivka, Zaporizhia region. In civilian life, he worked at the company "Nova Poshta" as a receiver. His favorite pastime was fishing. In 2016, the man signed a contract with military unit 3018 of the National Guard of Ukraine, joining the 4th operational brigade named after Hero of Ukraine Sergeant Serhiy Mykhalchuk. He participated in the war in the East and was awarded the badge "For Participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation." He encountered the full-scale invasion in Hostomel, Kyiv region. After moving to Vinnytsia region, he rejoined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He defended Ukraine at the front as part of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade. "Arthur was a wonderful person, a loving husband, and a good father. He dreamed of witnessing the birth of his youngest son, but the war took him away too soon... Forever our beloved husband and wonderful father of three children," wrote his wife, Tatyana Korniychuk. The warrior was buried in Hostomel. Arthur is survived by his wife and three children.
