Artur O. Sharudylo (Archi)

26-year-old junior sergeant Artur Sharudylo (call sign Archi) was killed on October 5, 2022 near the village of Stepova Novoselyvka in the Kharkiv region. The defender received a fatal explosive injury while performing his duties. Artur was born in the city of Dymytrov (now Myrnograd) in the Donetsk region. In 2018, he obtained a higher education degree in "Jurisprudence" at the Dnipropetrovsk University of Internal Affairs. He worked in the operational unit in the city of Lyman, Donetsk region. In 2020, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and studied in parallel at the Lviv National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny. He was interested in psychology, read a lot, and was engaged in sports. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine as part of the 92nd separate mechanized brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He was a gunner. He participated in the defense of the Kharkiv region from Russian invaders. "I'll say for myself: it's a very big loss for me, because he was a child from God, he always took care of me, warned me of all troubles. He was very fair, strong-willed, and said: 'Mom, I'm like this because you gave me these virtues.' I don't know how to live on. My life stopped on October 5, 2022 at 6:00 pm, when I received the notification of Arturchyk's death. They say time heals... No, this is not true, because the further, the more terrible, because I understand that I will never see, never hear my son-hero. My Sunshine..." - said his mother Vitaliia Ivanivna. The defender was buried in the village of Poltavka, Donetsk region. Artur is survived only by his mother.
