- Born on May 24, 1988, in the urban-type settlement of Vilshany, Dergachiv District, Kharkiv Oblast. Graduated from secondary school No. 158 in the city of Kharkiv. In 2006-2007, he served in the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade (military unit A0281, city of Zhytomyr) and in the 80th Separate Airborne Order of the Red Banner Regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0284, city of Lviv). Worked in the city of Zhytomyr for the individual entrepreneur Hladky. In March 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 2nd Airborne Assault Battalion of the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1910, city of Zhytomyr). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation in eastern Ukraine. On October 6, 2014, soldier Silko was killed during a mortar shelling by Russian-terrorist groups of the positions of Ukrainian troops in the area of the village of Pisky, Yasynuvata District, Donetsk Oblast. On October 9, 2014, he was buried at the Smolyan Military Cemetery in the city of Zhytomyr. On May 24, 2015, in the city of Zhytomyr, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the building (Sikorsky Lane, 4) where Arthur Silko lived.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
