Artur P. Kulyk

Soldier-shooter Arthur Kulyk was killed in action on July 23, 2022, in battles with Russian occupiers in the Kherson region. The fighter was 49 years old. Arthur was born and lived all his life in the city of Krivoy Rog in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He stuwas killed in action at the local vocational school No. 39. After serving in the army, he worked as a driver, and later got a job at the Gvardiyska mine of the Krivoy Rog Iron Ore Plant. He held the position of a section linker. In 2014-2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine and participated in the ATO. Two years after demobilization, Arthur returned to service, but now under contract. And again, he defended Ukraine on the front line. On the second day of the large-scale invasion, on February 25, 2022, Oleksandra was mobilized again. As part of the 17th separate tank brigade named after Kostyantin Pestushko, he went to stop the advance of the occupiers. Initially, they defended the Luhansk direction, and later Arthur Kulyk's unit went to the Kherson region, where the warrior was killed in action. "At 5.20, he was killed in action with a weapon in his hands. He was an honest and decent person," said Arthur's comrade Vitaliy Pozdnyak. The defender was buried in his hometown. At home, Arthur's wife and son were waiting for him.
