Artur R. Serediuk

Fighter Artur Seredyuk died on October 15, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Yegorivka in Donetsk region. The defender was 28 years old. Artur was born in the village of Pidhirya in the Volyn region. After school, he obtained a profession as a painter and plasterer at the Kamin-Kashirsk Higher Vocational School. During the full-scale war, he took up the defense of Ukraine as part of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush. He held the position of a service member and performed important tasks at the front. "He loved life very much. He was always cheerful, had many friends, and helped his parents. When the war started, he did not hesitate to defend our state..." said the brother of the fallen, Roman. "Comrades say: 'We miss him,' parents: 'We planned nothing without him; he helped us in everything, even from a distance,' friends: 'He is a reliable comrade and friend who never offended anyone,' villagers: 'He is a golden child with a sincere smile on his lips.' The village elder, Raisa Panasyuk, noted: 'He is the flower of the nation, a very good young man who had a whole life ahead of him. He is someone to be set as an example for all.' We mourn, and bow our heads in grief. May the soul of the fallen Artur find eternal peace..." stated the Ratne community. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, his parents and brother were waiting for Artur.
