Artur V. Hrytsenko

Gritsenko Artur Volodymyrovich was born on February 15, 1979, in the village of Horodnytsya, Novohrad-Volynskyi district, Zhytomyr region. He was a product of the Zhytomyr and Lviv football systems. He graduated from the football department of the Lviv Boarding School of Sports Profile (now Lviv Professional College of Sports). He made his professional debut at the age of 17. He played for FC Lviv, Karpaty-2, Halychyna-Karpaty, Hazovyk-Skala, Stal, and other teams. He lived in the village of Natalivka near Novohrad-Volynsky, Zhytomyr region. After the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022, he served in the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was killed on April 22, 2022, in battles near the city of Kharkiv.
