Bohdan A. Mishchur (Bizon)

Soldier Bohdan Mishchur (call sign Bison) was killed on July 27, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhia region. He would have turned 29 years old in three days. The warrior was considered missing for several months. Bohdan was born in the village of Bilche, Rivne region. He grew up in a large family. He lost his father at a young age. In 2000, he began his studies in his native village, and then transferred to the Maliv Secondary School. After completing the 9th grade, he entered the Higher Vocational School No. 25 in the village of Demydivka, where he obtained the profession of an electrician. In 2015, the man began his military service in the village of Druzhba, Chernihiv region. There he met his future wife. In 2021, the couple had a daughter named Vladyslava. In civilian life, Bohdan mostly worked abroad in construction. With the start of the full-scale invasion, in April 2022, Bohdan was mobilized. He was a grenadier in the 118th Separate Mechanized Brigade. "My husband was very hardworking, he never sat idle. He planned to start a large household. None of the people who knew him said anything bad about him. Many people turned to Bohdan for help - he helped physically and financially, he could not refuse anyone," his wife Alina said. The defender was buried in November 2023 in the village of Bilche, Rivne region. Bohdan is survived by his mother, brothers, sister, wife, daughter, and other relatives.
