- Soldier Bohdan Zubachenko (call sign Zuba) was killed on April 17, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Kuzmyne in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 21 years old. Bohdan was born in the village of Svydivok, Cherkasy region. He graduated from a rural school. He was always fascinated by cars and technology, so he chose the profession of an auto mechanic. He had many plans and dreams for life. He valued his family and friends, and above all, he wanted to live in a free and independent country. That's why he went to military service in the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. As part of the 15th separate Sloviansk regiment, he met the full-scale invasion. He was a senior gunner and successfully destroyed the enemy. "I am a servicewoman. Together with my husband, we served, but in different troops. We got married on February 23, 2022. After the wedding, he went to the Luhansk region with his comrades-in-arms. He was kind and cheerful, always smiling, even when going into battle, because he knew he was protecting his home and family. He believed the war would end and peaceful life would come," said the deceased's wife Kristina. The warrior was buried in his native village. Bohdan is survived by his father and wife.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
