      79th separate airborne assault brigade
      Killed in action on November 8, 2014, around 4:00 AM at Donetsk airport. Two paratroopers sustained fatal injuries when they were ambushed while setting up secrets in the area of the new terminal and engaged in a firefight with Russian militants. Bohdan had his lungs shot through with armor-piercing bullets.

      • Born on May 11, 1991, in the village of Rozvadiv, Mykolaiv district, Lviv region. In the summer of 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer to the 79th Separate Airborne Brigade of the High Mobility Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, city of Mykolaiv). From the summer to autumn of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 8, 2014, during the deployment of secrets in the area of the new terminal of Donetsk International Airport, soldier Zdebski and soldier Baranov-Orel were ambushed. During the battle with Russian-terrorist groups, the paratroopers sustained serious injuries from which they died. On November 11, 2014, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Rozvadiv, Mykolaiv district.
