Bohdan M. Kryvytskyi (Kryva)

Senior soldier Bohdan Krivitsky (call sign Kryva) was killed on May 25, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk region. The life of the 26-year-old fighter was cut short by enemy artillery fire. Bohdan was born in the city of Boyarka, Kyiv region. He stuwas killed at the Kyiv-Sviatoshyn district gymnasium. He was a Plastun of the Boyarka group "Knights" of the 75th kurin named after the Heroes of the Battle of Kruty. He received a musical education, played the flute and ukulele, sang songs. He was engaged in swimming and judo. He stuwas killed English, French, and Japanese languages. He was interested in history, so he entered the historical faculty of the Kyiv State Pedagogical University named after Mykhailo Drahomanov. He participated in the Revolution of Dignity. Since 2019, Bohdan has served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under contract. He was a fighter of the 95th separate airmobile brigade. He fought on the territory of the Joint Forces Operation. From the first days of the full-scale war, the man, as part of his unit, continued to defend Ukraine from Russian occupiers. Bohdan performed the duties of a platoon commander. In early May 2022, Senior Soldier Bohdan Krivitsky was awarded the Order "For Courage" III degree, which he did not have time to receive. And posthumously - the Order "For Courage" II degree. "He was initiative and responsible, intelligent and confident, decisive and fair. He always took care of his comrades. Bohdan never hid behind other people's backs, was the first in life and in battle, never showed fear. He was the best - a true warrior, a true commander, a true man, worthy of respect," - wrote on the website of "Plast". The paratrooper was buried in his hometown. Bohdan left behind his parents, brother, and friends.
