Bohdan M. Tsymbaliuk (Kenni)

Soldier Bohdan Tsymbaliuk (call sign Kenny) was killed on June 12, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Novooleksandrivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 23 years old. Bohdan was born in the city of Lysychansk, Luhansk region. He graduated from school No. 18. He mastered the profession of an electric gas welder at the Lysychansk Vocational and Technical Mining and Industrial Lyceum. He also studied at the Lysychansk Pedagogical College of Taras Shevchenko National University of Luhansk, but studied only for 3 courses. He was fond of sports, engaged in athletics, boxing and kickboxing. On the second day of the full-scale war, on February 25, 2022, together with a friend, he went to defend his native country in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He obtained the qualification of a communications specialist, and after 1.5 years, he changed his profession to an operator of the anti-tank platoon of the fire support company. "My son was always optimistic, incredibly generous, kind, faithful and loving," said Iryna Zolenko. Bohdan is survived by his parents, sister, brother and beloved girlfriend.
