Bohdan M. Vyshnevyi (Bodia-Vyshnia)

Soldier Bohdan Vishnyov (call sign Bodia-Vishnya) was killed on August 12, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of Andriivka village in Kherson region. The defender was 21 years old. Bohdan was born in Teklynivka village, Vinnytsia region. He stu at Vinnytsia Professional Art School. He loved technology, fishing, and relaxing with friends. He was always cheerful and loved to make everyone around him smile. Recently, he worked at the company "Berlinek". When the full-scale war began, the guy decided to follow in his older brother's footsteps and joined the army. Bohdan served in the 61st separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of master of the repair department of automotive equipment of the technical support platoon. "My son Bohdan loved life very much, had many plans for the future. He was always sincere, kind, and ready to help. He grew up very early and did a lot of men's work, which was sometimes beyond his strength. Kind, with a warm heart. In the first days of the war, he went to the military commissariat as a volunteer. He was in Odessa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson region. Most of all, he loved his Ukraine," said Svitlana Vishneva. The warrior was buried in the village of Khorosha, Vinnytsia region. He is survived by his parents. His older brother Myroslav Vishnyov was killed in action during the battle for Mariupol on March 12, 2022.
