Bohdan M. Zhylovskyi

Military serviceman Bohdan Zhilovsky was killed on September 16, 2022, in battle with Russian occupiers in the Kherson region. The defender turned 41 in the summer. Bohdan was born in the village of Sydynivka in the Lviv region. After his education, he worked in the construction field. In 2015-2016, he carried out combat missions in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO). He fought as part of the 17th Separate Tank Brigade named after Konstantyn Pestushko. When he returned home, he continued to work in the civilian sector. He was making life plans. He lived in Lviv. However, when the full-scale war began, he once again set out to defend Ukraine. This time he went to the front as part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel. Unfortunately, he never returned. The defender was buried in Lviv. At home, his father, sister, wife, and 5-year-old daughter were waiting for Bohdan.
