- 25-year-old senior soldier Bohdan Dudai (call sign Malyi) was killed on June 7, 2023 near the village of Masiutivka in the Kharkiv region. He was providing aid to a wounded comrade when the enemy shelling began. The defender sustained a fatal explosive injury. Bohdan was born in Lutsk. He lived with his family in the village of Tovpyzhyn, Rivne region, since childhood. He graduated from Demydiv Higher Vocational School No. 25, obtaining the profession of an electrician. In 2016-2019, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) / Joint Forces Operation (JFO). In 2018, he was awarded the "For Exemplary Service" badge. He then returned to civilian life and worked abroad. When the full-scale invasion began, the man returned to his homeland and went to the military commissariat. He was mobilized to the 14th Brigade and went back to the front. He held the position of a sapper in the engineering support group. "Bohdan was very kind, sincere, smiling, fearless, and brave - his courageous act shows this. He always tried to help everyone and was a very good-natured person. And even on that terrible day, he did not fear the enemy shelling and rushed to rescue a wounded comrade. He saved him at the cost of his own life. Bodya wanted to live in a free country. He had a girlfriend, and in the fall they planned to get married, but on June 7, the enemy destroyed all the plans of our dear person. He always thought about his comrades, shared everything, and worried about everyone," said his sister Kateryna. The warrior was buried in his native village. Bohdan is survived by his parents, sister, brother, and fiancée.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
