- Hasyuk Bohdan Oleksandrovych was born on August 20, 1993, in the village of Ivakhny, Monastyryshchenskyi District, Cherkasy Oblast. In 2016, he graduated from the National Pedagogical University named after M. P. Drahomanov. On March 12, 2022, Senior Sergeant Bohdan Hasyuk was called up for mobilization to the Border Command of Rapid Response of the 24th Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, within which he carried out combat missions on the state border. On February 14, 2023, Bohdan Hasyuk joined the formation of the 15th Mobile Border Detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, and already on June 21, 2023, as part of the 1st Border Command of Rapid Response, he was dispatched to the city of Chasiv Yar in the Donetsk Oblast to carry out combat missions to repel the Russian Federation's offensive in the Bakhmut direction. On June 26, 2023, Senior Sergeant Bohdan Hasyuk, as part of a group, stormed enemy positions and reached a designated line in the area of the settlements of Chasiv Yar and Berkhivka. The border guard, together with his comrades, continued the assault on the trenches occupied by the enemy. During the firefight, Bohdan Hasyuk managed to eliminate enemies, but unfortunately, he himself sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Having received the appropriate training, he independently provided himself with first aid. After the positions were cleared, his comrades immediately evacuated the serviceman to the nearest safe shelter. Senior Sergeant Bohdan Hasyuk underwent prolonged treatment in various military medical institutions; however, on August 10, 2023, he passed away at the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology named after O. O. Shalimov. For personal courage and selfless actions displayed in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and loyalty to the military oath, Senior Sergeant Hasyuk Bohdan Oleksandrovych was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
