      Killed in action on July 16, 2014, in a battle near the village of Marynivka in the Shakhtarsk district of Donetsk region, when a checkpoint of law enforcement officers was attacked by about 100 militants. During the battle, he covered the personnel and personally fired from an anti-tank grenade launcher.
