- Soldier Bohdan Kozak (call sign Polyn) was killed on January 20, 2024 near the settlement of Dibrova in the Luhansk region. While performing his official duties, he suffered a fatal explosive injury. The fighter would have turned 29 in a week. Bohdan was born and lived in Lviv. He studied at school No. 77. Then he graduated from the Lviv Vocational College of Modeling and Catering and obtained the profession of a cook. Later he worked in the bakery "Living Bread". In his free time he loved to fish. During the full-scale war, the man fought for his country in the ranks of the 6th Special Purpose Battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine. He held the position of a mechanic of armored vehicles. "A brother is a person who has achieved everything thanks to his diligence and perseverance," said Orest Kozak. The National Guard soldier was buried in the Marsiove Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. Bohdan is survived by his mother Olha, brother Orest, sister-in-law Zinaida, nieces Anastasia and Elizaveta.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
