- Junior Sergeant Bohdan Didukh (call sign Cactus) was killed on June 13, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The soldier received fatal injuries as a result of an enemy mine explosion. The defender was forever 33 years old. Bohdan was a native of Lviv. He studied at the secondary general education school of grades I-III No. 55. In 2013, he obtained a higher education at the Department of Electrical Power Engineering and Control Systems of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". During his studies, he was remembered for his cheerful, kind nature and inexhaustible optimism. In peacetime, he worked at the Lviv Railway regional branch of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia", and later in the construction industry. He was the chief referee of the Kamianets Football Federation and a member of many amateur football and futsal clubs in Lviv. Football was his greatest passion in life, more than which he loved only his girls - his daughter and wife. With the start of the full-scale war, the man engaged in volunteer activities. Then he joined the ranks of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 1st separate battalion of the 36th separate brigade of the Marine Corps named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky. "When he was gone, we lost an entire universe. He was incredibly kind. He was a person who became the center of any company he found himself in. His ability to win the trust of those around him always caused admiration," said the deceased's wife, Olena. The marine was buried in the Marso Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. At home, Bohdan was awaited by his parents, wife, daughter, brother, nieces and godchildren.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
