- Soldier Bohdan Lebid (call sign Tsygan) was killed on August 29, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the village of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region. On October 9, the defender would have turned 25 years old. Bohdan was born in the village of Budky, Vinnytsia region, in a large family. He was the eldest, so he helped his parents with the younger children. He graduated from school in his native village. Then he obtained the profession of a cook at the Zhmerynka Higher Vocational School. Recently, he worked at a meat processing plant in Zhmerynka. In his free time, he loved to cook various dishes and listen to music. On April 28, 2023, the man was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 128th separate brigade of territorial defense. He was in the reconnaissance platoon of a separate battalion of military unit A7408. "Bohdan was the best brother who constantly supported. He was a son who always supported his parents and calmed them down when he was at the front. Being a soldier, he said he would defend the Motherland to the last and would never go into captivity with the occupiers, no matter what happened. He wanted to start his own family, on his birthday on September 9, he was going to propose to his girlfriend, but didn't have time..." - said the warrior's sister Nadiya. The hero was buried in his native village. Bohdan is survived by his parents Oleksiy Mykolaiovych and Larysa Vasylivna, brothers: Kostiantyn, Oleksiy, Davyd, Yan, Mykola, Danylo, Illia, Viacheslav, sisters: Nadiya, Khrystyna, Veronika, and his fiancée Tetiana.
