Borys Z. Orikh

Chief Sergeant Boris Orih was killed on March 21, 2022, during the battles for Kyiv region. He was just a few weeks away from his 50th birthday. Instructor at the Joint Training and Education Center, Boris Orih was a highly professional military man who repeatedly carried out combat missions in the area of the ATO / OOS, and participated in several peacekeeping operations. He was sincere at heart and rich in soul, a true professional, an expert in his field, a patriot and a brave warrior. "He is a man of a smile. A man of comfort. A man of humor. A great professional and a reliable comrade," - this is how his comrades describe the fallen serviceman. The hero was buried at the Alley of Glory at the Kamianets-Podilskyi city cemetery. He is survived by his wife and daughter. Boris Orih was posthumously awarded the Order "For Courage" of the 3rd degree.
