Danyil O. Krutohuzov

Soldier Danyil Krutohuzov was killedon February 24, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. The warrior was 23 years old. Danyil was born in the city of Pervomaisky, Kharkiv region. He studied at Lyceum No. 7. Then he graduated from the Pervomaisky Vocational Lyceum. In 2019, he went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. He served in the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. He was a gunner-anti-aircraft gunner in the anti-aircraft missile platoon. From the first day of the full-scale war, as part of his unit, Danyil defended his native Kharkiv region. He also fought in the Luhansk region. "He defended Ukraine courageously, selflessly, with a great faith that peace would come on earth, and he, his family, and all Ukrainians would live in a free country. Under the free, clean, peaceful sky and the Ukrainian flag. By the will of fate, this did not happen during his priceless earthly life... But I sincerely believe that from now on he is our Angel and watches over us, protects our souls, our hearts, and our lives. Thanks to him, the best has happened in my life. He gave me his life and from now on I will live for both of us. His heart now beats forever in mine. Thank you, my Angel, for always being by my side. It will never heal... But I will always know that you are with me. Thank you for your Light, your Love, and your pure intent. This is the most precious thing I have now. And I will carefully protect this treasure until the end of my life. Until the very moment when I can see you again, your face, your smile, smile back at you, rejoice, hug you, take your hands in mine and thank you. I hug you... Through space. And I know that you feel me. See you soon, my wonderful, smiling, beloved Angel! I love you," wrote the sister of the fallen Olga. "Always smiling and cheerful, he was brave and courageous, had many plans and loved his Motherland. May the good, bright memory of Danyil forever remain in the memory of his relatives, colleagues, and all who knew him, loved and respected him," said the Pervomaisky community. The warrior was buried in his hometown. Danyil is survived by his mother, brother, sisters, and beloved.
