- Soldier Danilo Golovko (call sign Gal) was killed on June 2, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Bohorodychne in Donetsk region. The warrior was 25 years old. Danilo was born and lived in the city of Myrnohrad, Donetsk region. He stuwas killed at school No. 9. He then obtained the professions of electric locomotive driver and electrical locksmith at the city mining college No. 105. After completing his studies, he interned at the Stakhanov mine. Later, he moved to the Pokrovsk mining management, where he worked as an electric locomotive and diesel locomotive driver. In 2018-2019, he served in the Ukrainian Navy, holding the position of mechanic-driver of engineering barrier machines. After completing his service, he returned home and continued working at the mine while making plans for the future. In his free time, he loved fishing, spending time with his family, and playing football. He did everything for his family. During the full-scale war, Danilo sent his wife and son to a safe place and went to the military enlistment office himself. In April 2022, he became a serviceman of the National Guard of Ukraine. He was a grenade launcher in the 2nd battalion of special purpose "Donbas." He maintained a high level of personal combat readiness and was proficient in weapons. He participated in battles in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. "He was the best son, a caring and loving father, the kindest person. Always positive, he constantly helped and supported others. He was brave, proactive, and always ready to carry out tasks," said the relatives of the fallen warrior. The warrior was buried at the Glory Alley of the "Ozerka" cemetery in his hometown of Myrnohrad. Danilo is survived by his parents, sisters, brothers, wife, and son. Posthumously, the defender was awarded the Order of Courage III degree and a Certificate of Honor from the Myrnohrad Military Administration.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
