Danylo H. Moldavskyi (Burbon)

26-year-old senior soldier Danylo Moldavsky (call sign Bourbon) was killed on August 29, 2022, during an enemy mortar shelling in the Olhyne village area of Kherson region. Danylo was born in the city of Marhanets, Dnipropetrovsk region. He stu at the Dnipropetrovsk Logistics College. He was responsible, quickly learned everything. When the Russian-Ukrainian war began, Danylo was not yet 18 years old. However, he very much wanted to get to the front. He underwent training and training from Azov, and later joined the ranks of the regiment itself. In 2016, together with his comrades, he went to Donbas. He took part in the ATO/OOS. In the summer of 2021, he decided to resign. Moved to Rivne. He got a job at a car service station, as he really liked cars. He loved to disassemble, repair them, he knew how to do it. He dreamed of opening his own car service station. He planned a joint life with his beloved Maria. That same summer, the lovers got married. However, all the time of peaceful life, Danylo understood that a full-scale war was ahead. Therefore, when it began, he knew what to do. In the first days of the invasion, he evacuated his wife out of the city, and he himself, together with his comrades, went to the East. He joined the 1st Separate Brigade of Special Purpose named after Ivan Bohun. He did not tell his relatives where he served and what he was doing. He said that everything was fine and he was helping the TRO fighters. His wife only knew that he was a paramedic in reconnaissance. "For him, the most important thing was to save lives. That's why he always returned for the wounded, tried to help them, never left the guys behind. They say that's how he : trying to pull out the 300th...", Maria said. "Thank you for your friendship, comrade! Azov lives, we will avenge!", wrote his comrade Konstantin. Danylo Moldavsky was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Novoye cemetery in Rivne. The military man left behind his parents and wife.
