  Killed in action on February 18, 2015, during the redeployment of troops from the city of Debaltseve in the Donetsk region. The vehicle in which Denys was traveling hit a mine near the village of Kalynivka in the Bakhmut district of the Donetsk region and remained in the territory controlled by Russian militants.
