Denys M. Rudenko (Panda)

Senior soldier Denys Rudenko (call sign Panda) was killed on September 29, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Andriivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 34 years old. Denys was born in the village of Krynytsi, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Oleksandrivskyi Vocational Agricultural Lyceum. He worked at a coal mining enterprise. He led a quiet and peaceful life. He dreamed of family comfort and peace for his country. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man fought for the Motherland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 92nd separate assault brigade named after Koshovy Otaman Ivan Sirko. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the eastern direction of the front. "Denys was modest and courageous, a reliable comrade-in-arms and a true friend. He really wanted to have his own family," his loved ones said. The soldier was buried in his native village, next to his brother and father. Denys is survived by his mother, friends and comrades-in-arms.
