Denys O. Fadieiev (Fadia)

Serviceman Denys Fadieiev (call sign Fadia) died on December 8, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Khudoiarove in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 34 years old forever. Denys was born and lived in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. He studied at school No. 107. Then he obtained the profession of a cook at the Kryvyi Rih Vocational and Technical School. In civilian life, he worked in construction. He was interested in radio engineering, cooked well and drew. He planned to go abroad to work, dreamed of a family and children. During the Great War, on March 3, 2022, the man volunteered to defend his native country. He served as part of the 128th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a senior rifleman of the 233rd battalion. He fought on the Luhansk, Kharkiv and other directions of the front. He had wounds and concussions. On December 6, 2022, he was awarded the badge "For Courage and Bravery". And two days later he died. "Denys was brave, honest and fair, generous. Since we had no parents, he took care of us," his sister Anna said. The warrior was buried in the Honored Burials sector of the Western Cemetery in his hometown. Denys had two sisters and a younger brother.
