Denys S. Pavlov

Soldier Denis Pavlov was killed on August 9, 2022, near the village of Yehorivka in Donetsk region. While performing a combat mission, he came under enemy artillery fire and received fatal injuries. In June, the defender turned 36 years old. Denis was from Pavlohrad, Dnipropetrovsk region. He received a degree in mechanics from Donetsk National University. Later, he received a specialist diploma in the same profession from the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology. He worked as a brigadier, then as a shift master in shop No. 5 of the company "Interpipe". In his free time, he loved to fish. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man went to defend his loved ones and his native country, joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 53rd separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Vladimir Monomakh. Together with his comrades, he defended the eastern direction of the front. The husband was really that person for me, next to whom I felt like behind a wall. This was always support and help, which is now so lacking, said Kateryna, the wife of the fallen warrior. Denis was buried at the Krasnopilsk cemetery in Dnipro. At home, Denis was waiting for his parents, brother, wife, and daughter. According to the order of the city head of Pavlohrad, the hero was awarded the sign of honor "For merits before the community".
