- Soldier Denis Nebrat (call sign Den) was killed on March 22, 2024, while rescuing a wounded comrade under enemy mortar fire near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The comrade was saved, but Denis could not be. The defender was forever 33 years old. Denis was born in the village of Hrushiv in the Kyiv region. He studied at the Rzhyshchiv Vocational and Technical School, where he obtained the profession of a driver. He was interested in tractors and really wanted to work on the land. In his free time, he loved to go fishing. He lived with his family in the village of Pustovity in the Kyiv region. He worked as a long-distance driver for most of his conscious life. His last job was at the Myronivskyi plant for the production of cereals and mixed fodder. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he went to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a machine gunner in the 135th battalion of the 114th separate brigade of the territorial defense. For his service, he received a number of awards, including the "Golden Cross" and "War Veteran" badges. "My husband was very kind, he reached out to everyone, and never refused to help. Whatever he was asked to do, he always said: 'No problem' or 'No questions asked.' All his comrades and the platoon commander speak only well of him. His commander said that Denis was a warrior in spirit. If there were more like him, victory would have already come," the fallen warrior's wife said. The defender was buried in the village of Pustovity in the Kyiv region. Denis is survived by his wife, son, daughter, parents, and older brother.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
