Denys V. Vysharovskyi

Soldier Denis Visharovsky (call sign Kamaz) was killed on November 18, 2023 near the village of Tavriiske, Zaporizhzhia region. While performing his duties, he came under enemy artillery fire and suffered fatal injuries. A month earlier, the military man turned 35 years old. Denis was a native of Vinnytsia. He studied at schools No. 11 and No. 22. Even then, he was fascinated by military affairs, so after completing secondary education, he went to serve in the army. However, in peacetime, for many years he worked as a driver of an armored cash-in-transit vehicle at PrivatBank. At the end of March 2022, the man voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of driver-medic of the forward surgical department of the military medical clinical center of the Central region. There he found his calling. He worked in the intensive care unit all the time, helping doctors save the lives of defenders. He was engaged in volunteer activities, providing the military hospital with everything necessary. "He was kind, cheerful, always helped everyone, loved his family very much. He was very concerned about the war, helped in the intensive care unit, where he spent all his time. When he couldn't help save a life, he was very upset. We have a wonderful son left who said: 'If the war doesn't end when I grow up, I will definitely go to defend and avenge my dad,'" said the wife of the deceased Lyudmyla. Denis was buried at the Sabarivske cemetery in Vinnytsia. The hero left behind his parents, brother, wife and son. Denis Visharovsky was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
