- Denys Vasylovych Zubriichuk was born on December 30, 1995, in the village of Mala Khaycha, Korosten District, Zhytomyr Oblast. In 2011, he graduated from the 9th grade of the Velykokhaychanska Secondary School and enrolled in the Kyiv Professional College of Transport Infrastructure. After graduating from college, in 2014-2016, he studied at the State University of Transport, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in "Management." In April 2017, he joined the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine and served in the Ovruch District. In 2017-2018, he defended the sovereignty and independence of his homeland in the ATO / JFO zone. After the full-scale invasion of Russia into Ukraine, he volunteered to transfer to the Donetsk Border Detachment. Denys Zubriichuk, an inspector of the border service of the highest category, head of the border service inspectorate (on armored personnel carriers) of the 3rd border post of the rapid response border command of the Eastern Regional Department of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, was killed on January 9, 2023, in the area of the city of Soledar in Donetsk Oblast during an artillery shelling by the enemy. For personal bravery and selfless actions displayed in defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Denys Vasylovych Zubriichuk was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Book of the MIA System
