- Born on March 1, 1984, in the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk (now Kamyanske) in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Graduated from secondary school No. 8 in Dniprodzerzhynsk, then attended a medical college. In 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a sanitary instructor in the 74th separate reconnaissance battalion of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1035, the urban-type settlement of Cherkaské in the Novomoskovsk district of the Dnipropetrovsk region). From August 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On September 5, 2014, soldier Drobny, as part of a reconnaissance group, was carrying out a combat mission in the area of the city of Marinka in the Donetsk region. During the movement, he triggered a "tripwire" with a mine, causing the explosive device to detonate. Soldier Drobny died while shielding other fighters with his body.
