Dmytro A. Kuzmych (Chub)

Soldier Dmytro Kuzmich (call sign Chub) was killed on November 7, 2023 while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk direction. The defender was 34 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Rudnya-Karpylivska, Rivne region. He graduated from secondary school. He worked as a construction worker. He spent his free time with his loved ones and friends. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended his Homeland in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 10th separate mountain assault brigade "Edelweiss". "He was very courageous, resilient and brave," said the sister of the fallen. The military was buried in his native village. Dmytro left behind a mother, brother and three sisters. Dmytro Kuzmich was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
