- 21-year-old tanker Dmytro Lyutak (call sign February) was killed on June 5, 2022, in Kharkiv region as a result of an enemy shell hitting his tank. Dmytro was born in the city of Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He received the profession of a carpenter at the Nadvirna Professional and Technical School No. 11. He was fond of cars. He dreamed of becoming a long-distance driver, and also to make a parachute jump. In the first days of the full-scale war, the guy went to serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his native Ukraine from Russian occupiers. He joined the 4th Separate Tank Brigade and went to the front line. During the battles near the village of Husarivka, Kharkiv region, February took his last battle. According to his comrades, he managed to open the hatch to save a friend when their tank was hit. "He was an extremely bright child. A source of energy and positivity. A loyal friend, a good son, a loving brother. He loved Ukraine with all his heart. In the first days of the war, he went to the front as a volunteer. Always said: "If not me, then who?" Until the last day of his life, he believed in our victory," said Vlada Babchuk, the defender's aunt. Dmytro was buried in the village of Velykyi Mydsk, Rivne region. He left behind his mother, stepfather, two brothers, and a sister.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
