Dmytro A. Moroko (Lebid)

Soldier Dmytro Moroko (call sign Swan) was killed on December 21, 2023 in the area of the village of Synkivka in the Kharkiv region. During the performance of a combat mission, he came under mortar fire and received fatal injuries. The defender was 39 years old. Dmytro was born in the village of Dibrivka in Crimea. He lived in the city of Lebedyn in the Sumy region. He had a secondary education. He worked as a cutter. He was fond of fishing and engaged in it at different times of the year. During the full-scale war, Dmytro joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his family from the enemy. He served in the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi. "Dimochka was an example for his children. Smart, sincere, kind, he had golden hands," said his wife Anna. The military was buried in the city of Lebedyn in the Sumy region. Dmytro is survived by his mother, brother, wife, son and daughter.
