In his free time, he loved fishing and traveling. During the full-scale war, Dmytro fought for Ukraine in the ranks of the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a grenade launcher. "This is a man who could be relied upon at any moment, who could be trusted, with whom one could just talk heart-to-heart. A real man - that's how Dmytro was. He was a very good person with a sincere heart and soul, with boundless kindness and selflessness, with a great love for life. A week after the start of the war, he went to the military enlistment office as a volunteer, although he was limited in legal capacity due to his health condition, and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. A wonderful family man, a loving husband and father. A good friend who always lent a helping hand. Very sincere, sensitive. He had a higher education as an electrician. He was not afraid of work, he could cope with any task," said the fallen fighter's wife, Oksana. The defender was buried at the Mykolaivske cemetery in Zaporizhzhia.
