Dmytro A. Yarovyi (Yarovyi)

37-year-old paratrooper Dmytro Yarovyi was killed by the occupiers on December 20, 2022 near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. He was taken prisoner and shot. Dmytro was born in the city of Yuzhnoukrainsk in the Mykolaiv region. He graduated from the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in "Electrical power consumption systems". He worked in his specialty on construction sites in Kyiv. He loved his job and had a talent for it. He was passionate about cars and loved to go fishing. He also loved animals. He lived with his family in the village of Novosilky in the Kyiv region. During the full-scale war, in April 2022, the man voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a grenadier in the 95th separate air assault brigade. "This is the love of my whole life, love at first sight. On September 22, 2022, it was the 15th anniversary of our wedding. Very calm and balanced. Wise beyond his years. He was a reliable support and pillar for the family, relatives, friends and colleagues. Always smiling and kind. He had golden hands. He never sat still, always learning something new," his wife Iryna said. The defender was buried in the village of Novosilky in the Kyiv region. Dmytro is survived by his mother Svitlana, wife Iryna and son Ivan.
