- Junior Sergeant Dmytro Alutin (call sign Kuchera) was killed on July 11, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission in the Zaporizhzhia direction. In August, the warrior would have turned 40 years old. Dmytro was born and lived in Zaporizhzhia. He studied at school No. 39. He graduated from the Zaporizhzhia State Engineering Academy with a degree in "Metallurgy". He worked at the Dniprospetsstal plant. He spent all his free time with his family, loved to travel. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in January 2023, the man joined the Defense Forces and went to defend his homeland. He fought in the ranks of the 15th Operational Purpose Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine "Kara-Dag". He was an aerial reconnaissance officer. "Brave, courageous, always with a smile on his face, a loving family man," said the sister of the deceased Maryna Checheliuk. The National Guard was buried in his hometown. At home, Dmytro was awaited by his parents, wife, son, other relatives and friends. For personal courage, bravery and self-sacrifice shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, conscientious and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people, Junior Sergeant Dmytro Alutin was posthumously awarded a certificate of honor of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
