Dmytro I. Fedina

Dmytro Fedina, a scout, was killed on December 2, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission near Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region. The defender came under enemy air attack. He was 28 years old. Dmytro was born and lived in Varash, Rivne region. He graduated from the National University "Odesa Polytechnic" with a degree in Nuclear Power Engineering. He worked as a repair mechanic in the shop for the repair of general station systems of the energy repair unit at the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. In his free time, he loved fishing and doing something with his own hands. He started building a house for his family. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Dmytro joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At first, he served in the security company. And later, as part of the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, he went to the Donetsk and Kharkiv regions. "The best in the world, an incredibly loving husband and father. A person who was always bursting with energy. He never refused anyone help. Strong, persistent, real." - said the defender's wife Natalia. The serviceman was buried in the village of Sobischytsi in the Rivne region, where he spent his childhood. Dmytro is survived by his mother, wife, daughter and young son. The children were 2 years and 1 month old at the time of their father's death.
