- Senior soldier Dmytro Havryliuk (call sign Hoverla) was killed on April 27, 2023 near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, the soldier was wounded as a result of enemy mortar and artillery shelling. He was killed during evacuation. He was 30 years old forever. Dmytro was born in the village of Lazeshchyna, Zakarpattia region. After school, he obtained the profession of a cook at a vocational school. He worked as a taxi driver and loved his job, as he was always fascinated by cars. He was a good master, always helped his parents. He never sat idle, loved to do something in his free time. During the full-scale war, the man served in the ranks of the 356th Training Artillery Regiment of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of an instructor in the organization of the educational process at the self-propelled artillery school. "Dimchyk was the most sensitive and kindest person I knew. He was a courageous warrior and a strong wall behind which nothing was scary. He always called me Sonechko. He loved this world and was the world for me. Comrades-in-arms valued him for his cool mind and balanced decisions. He was a patriot of his country and remained so until his death. The call sign Hoverla reflects all his strength and might of spirit. My beloved, my gold, forever in my heart and the hearts of all Ukrainians," wrote the deceased's girlfriend Tetiana Vizaver. "Dimka, eternal memory to you! You will forever remain in our memory as a ray of light, goodness and kindness that warmed us with your presence," wrote fellow countryman Maria Fedoshchuk. The serviceman was buried in the village of Yasinia, Zakarpattia. Dmytro is survived by his parents, sister, brother, beloved, family and friends.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
