- 21-year-old soldier Dmytro Krasnoshchoko was killed on July 28, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the area of the village of Shestakove, Kharkiv region. The defender received fatal injuries during an artillery barrage. Dmytro was born in the village of Peresadivka, Mykolaiv region. He graduated from the Mykolaiv Technical School of Railway Transport. He studied at the Dnipro National University of Railway Transport. Sports were an integral part of the young man's life, he practiced karate and football. During the full-scale invasion, Dmytro defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 40th separate artillery brigade named after Grand Duke Vytautas. "Dmytro was a kind, bright, courageous young man. He was always quick to help everyone. He had many plans for life. He dreamed of finishing his studies, buying a house, and traveling a lot after the war. But his biggest dream was to have a son in the future and for the war to end so he could embrace his family and gather all his relatives and friends around one table. But his dreams were not destined to come true... He will forever remain 21... He was killed defending each of us. He gave his life for Ukraine. But in the memory of everyone who knew him, he will remain a cheerful, lively, always smiling boy with a big heart and ambitions," said his cousin Elena. "My dearest person, my dear son... Kind, intelligent, sincere, with an open soul... He had many friends. He dreamed of having his own home, traveling, starting a family, and having a good job," said the defender's mother Anna.
