Dmytro L. Pasiuta

Reconnaissance officer Dmytro Pasyuta was killed on December 3, 2022 during battles with the occupiers in the Donetsk region. Near the settlement of Kurdyumivka, the defender received fatal gunshot wounds. He was 29 years old. Dmytro was born in the city of Tlumach, Ivano-Frankivsk region. After school, he graduated from the Myrolyubiv Agrarian Vocational School and obtained the profession of a repair mechanic. He worked as a laborer. He lived in the city of Kalush. He loved animals and nature very much. During the full-scale invasion of the Russian military, Dmytro defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo. He was a senior reconnaissance spotter. "My husband was kind and caring. He always protected us with his son. He loved animals very much, we have a dog Mika left, who also misses him. We really miss him, it is hard to come to terms with the fact that he is gone," said the defender's wife Ulyana. "Faithful son of Ukraine Dmytro Pasyuta stood up to defend the Motherland and served as a spotter in the motorized infantry company, he is an example of patriotism and self-sacrifice for all of us, he paid the highest price for our freedom," said Zhanna Tabants, head of the Kalush district administration. The serviceman was buried in the Alley of Glory in the city of Kalush. At home, Dmytro was awaited by his parents, sister, wife and son.
