Dmytro M. Chuzhba

Born on May 10, 1985, in the urban-type settlement of Hirnyk, Chervonograd City Council, Lviv Oblast. He graduated from the general education school of the urban-type settlement of Hirnyk, then from Chervonograd Vocational Technical School No. 55 (now Chervonograd Professional Mining and Construction Lyceum). In 2015, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 28th Separate Guards Mechanized Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Kominternivskyi (since 2016 - Lymanskyi) district of Odesa Oblast). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On April 8, 2016, soldier Chuzhba was returning by train from leave to the unit's location. During the journey, the serviceman felt unwell. The train was urgently stopped, and an ambulance was called. On the way to the hospital, Dmytro Chuzhba died; the medics were unable to save the soldier. On April 11, 2016, he was buried at the Siletske Cemetery in the city of Chervonograd, Lviv Oblast.
