Dmytro M. Makukha

Soldier Dmytro Makukha was killed in action on July 26, 2022, in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Neskuchne in Donetsk region. The defender was 44 years old. Dmytro was from the city of Dniprodzerzhynsk (now Kamianske) in Dnipropetrovsk region. In 1996, he graduated from the local vocational school No. 26. Then he served in the army. He worked at the Dnipro-Azot enterprise. In 2014-2015, he participated in the ATO in Donbas. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man took up arms again and returned to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "This is an incredible, catastrophic loss. The loss of a real person, a Hero, an exemplary family man and citizen of his country. The news of his death shocked many people... We remember and will remember him as the most worthy person. Dymochka, our dear one, may the earth be soft for you!", wrote his acquaintance Irina Tymoshenko. The warrior was buried in his hometown. At home, Dmytro's wife and son were waiting for him.
