Dmytro O. Kulykov

Dmytro Oleksandrovych Kulykov was born on August 18, 1982, in the village of Pryvillya, Sloviansk district, Donetsk region. He graduated from the Ivan Kozhedub Air Force National University of Ukraine. He dedicated his life to military aviation. During the period of the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation, he performed combat duty at operational airfields and was involved in carrying out combat missions. In 2021, he graduated from the Ivan Cherniakhovskyi National Defense University of Ukraine and obtained a master's degree. On August 24, 2021, as part of the air column, he participated in the parade marking the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. On February 24, 2022, he was killed while performing a combat mission to strike enemy personnel and equipment in the area of the village of Farbovane in the Kyiv region. For personal courage and heroism displayed in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Dmytro Oleksandrovych Kulykov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage III degree.
